About Us

Sandy has been educating young children for over 20 years in the Upper Valley and currently educates at the Hampshire Cooperative Nursery School. Sandy has  in recent years been studying The Framework for Wise Education with Maureen Burford of Creative Lives.  Sandy and her teaching team believe in educating students from a place of inspiration, focus, self esteem, good intentions, emotional regulation, persona in the world and self discipline.

Sandy is currently teaching and mentoring early educators through the Early Care and Education Association of the Upper Valley.

In 2015 she combined her two passions – social emotional development and rescued farm animals and founded StoneLedge Stables. Sandy believes in the importance of connecting hearts and minds in the natural world as a way to ensure the physical and emotional health of her students.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science with concentrations in both Equestrian Science and Business Administration from William Woods University. In addition, she earned her MEd in Early Childhood Education from University of Edmond, OK.
